MEDICAL NITTY-GRITTY | HOW CAN I HELP

11/11/03: In late September, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. The prognosis for a full recovery is excellent, and I'm feeling just fine -- in fact, I was never feeling bad, per se. I've been lucky, as these things go. Testicular cancer is relatively isolated and self-contained and slow-to-spread -- and I caught mine early. So I really am feeling lucky.

More than anything, it's just been exhausting trying to negotiate through the hedge-maze of our health care system.

Musically, everything's on hold for awhile (which it already kinda was anyway since I've been pretty disinclined towards public displays of music for awhile) -- but now I have a good excuse. I will still play occasional shows as I get the time and motivation to book them. But no elaborate tours for awhile.

And my recording plans are now on hold indefinitely til I can get my financial books in order.

Well, that's the basic rundown. The following are some links to some more detailed information about what's been going on physically. And what you can do to help, if you're so inclined.

Thanks a bunch --
Danny
